WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. -- Oleine M. Ohngren, of Wappingers Falls, died Saturday, Nov. 19. She was 75.
The daughter of the late Olaf and Catherine (nee DeGeorge) Ohngren, she was born March 27, 1941 in Tarrytown.
She worked as a secretary for many years at IBM in Poughkeepsie, and later for Prodigy Corporation in White Plains. Ohngren loved her country home and the time she spent decorating it.
Survivors include her children, Carmelo Cappuzzello, Karen Rodriguez (Howard), David Cappuzzello (Tara), Stephen Allen and Kenneth Allen (Cheryl); grandchildren, Ronnie Keesler, Kayla Keesler, Isabella Cappuzzello, David Cappuzzello Jr., Kaitlin Schriebman, Nicholas Schriebman, Zachary Schriebman, James Reyes, MacKenzye Allen, Aidan Allen, Jason Bourne and Joey Bourne; and great-grandchildren, Ryder and Joseph.
The family will receive their friends from 5-9 p.m. Saturday at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls. A funeral service will be conducted at 8:30 p.m. during visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005 or Dutchess County SPCA, 636 Violet Ave., Hyde Park, NY 12538.
